Thank for your interest in Foothills School of Arts and Sciences! This section will
give you information about our application process for the school;
provide prospective parents with contact information to
begin the application process for their child; and explain how admission
decisions are made.
Foothills School is currently making its first round of admissions decisions for 2008-09. Prospective families who have completed the application process by February 29, 2008, will have first priority for openings for next school year. Open enrollment for kindergarten-8th grade will begin
April 1, 2008, and the school will continue to fill openings until all classes are full. The school will
accept applications throughout the school year.
Foothills Mission:
Foothills School provides a vibrant learning community where students develop personal, academic, and social responsibility – leading to a lifetime of discovery.
To empower our students, we value:
- INDIVIDUALITY – respecting students’ unique strengths, talents, and challenges
- CREATIVITY – inspiring expression, curiosity, and critical thinking
- COMMUNITY – promoting communication, cooperation, and collaboration
The School’s mission drives the admissions process, procedures and decisions.
The admissions process at Foothills is designed to provide families and the
School with the information necessary to determine if Foothills School is
a good fit for all parties. We want prospective families to learn about
the School, and in turn, the Admission Committee wants to learn about
each prospective family.
We look forward to sharing information with you about Foothills and
learning about your family!
