A Private, Independent PreK-9th Grade school in downtown Boise, Idaho.

All parents and guardians at Foothills belong to our parent/guardian group called the MULLETS, which stands for Mighty Upstanders Learning and Leading with Empathy, Thoughtfulness, and Style, and are encouraged to actively participate in the life of the school in ways that work best for them. As one parent shared, “The MULLETS have fun but also get things done; we're like a mullet because we're business in the front and party in the back.” The primary role of the MULLETS is to help build a strong sense of community among parents and guardians, Foothills families, and teachers and staff, as well as to lend support to various school activities and events.

For the 2023-2024 school year, the MULLETS are focused on spearheading social activities for families, welcoming new families into the Foothills community, Adventure Club activities, teacher and staff appreciation, and learning and service projects.

We are a stronger school when our families feel connected and engaged, and we appreciate all the numerous ways parents and guardians at Foothills contribute to strengthening these connections and opportunities for involvement.
