A Boise Rock School program at Foothills School for violinists, violaists, cellists, double bassists. This class will focus on both classical standards and contemporary tunes. The Strings Section will also have the opportunity to collaborate with the Contemporary Ensemble which will also be practicing during the same time on Tuesday’s. The class will be led by Boise Rock School teacher Jessica Burlile. Jessica has an extensive classical background and has attended Gonzaga and Boise State University, double majoring in Jazz Performance and Education.
Boise Rock School is led by Ryan Peck - a professional musician who also holds a graduate degree in Biology and teaches at Boise State University - and Jared Goodpaster, a past teacher at East Junior High and Borah High School who holds a Master's in Curriculum.
