Personal Statement:
“I believe that music is a vital part of any education. The arts are essential to exploring our identity and the context of our lives and to assigning and expressing meaning to these. I believe that music and the arts should be integrated across the curriculum and be integrated into the inquiry projects we pursue here at Foothills. I believe that it is especially important that students be put at the center of the music curriculum through composing, performing, and understanding various forms of musicality. I appreciate the incredible support and encouragement that Foothills has for the arts. It is
exciting to be a part of such a progressive educational community.”
