| Summer
classes provide children with a wide range of interesting and
fun activities throughout the months of June and July. An entire
class week
can be devoted to one area of study, research, activity and fun.
The selection of classes is quite diverse and we utilize our
own teaching faculty, while also bringing in incredible teachers
from the community. Summer class topics have included: organic gardening, woodworking,
puppetry, pottery, film-making, Spanish, dangerous creatures, hiking,
biking, birding and Shakespeare. Summer classes are always fun
and definitely an adventure.
Foothills School has always looked for myriad ways
to connect with the broader Boise community. Summer classes are
a wonderful way for area students to experience Foothills School
and for area families to consider alternative ideas about education.
Now parents from all over the valley look forward to the Foothills
Summer Program schedule, and we have students who have attended every year
for a decade.
