At Foothills School, we want our students to learn how to boldly question. We believe this ability starts by igniting a passion for learning through a progressive approach to education and ensuring that students feel safe to ask hard questions, test their theories, push beyond the status quo, and challenge assumptions when necessary. We want our students to know that they matter, what they have to say matters, and that we all have a responsiblity to contribute to the greater good.
We think it's never too early to start our students on the path to becoming innovators, design thinkers, philosophers, great collaborators and problem solvers, and people who confidently face challenges with optimism. To this end, we have designed our educational program based largely on our students' questions and capacity for great thinking. Because when our students become adults, we want them to live with intention, know their purpose, find happiness and success, and do great things for the world.
