Read about our Programmatic Pillars here.

We believe that our PreK-9th Grade students have great ideas and are capable of great things. Embracing a progressive approach to education, Foothills teachers place students in an active role as learners, so that we can listen and be responsive to their ideas, adjust classroom projects and instruction accordingly, and empower our students to realize their potential as great learners.

We think that students should be given the opportunity to: learn "how to learn"; communicate effectively and respectfully; discover their unique strengths and passions; and recognize that we all have a lot to learn from others.

Our vibrant, talented faculty design our curriculum and educational program to allow students to learn through experiences that are playful, poetic, and profound.

To learn how to effectively collaborate, innovate, persuade, persist, problem solve, lead, care, and be mindful, we understand that students need to be given real opportunities to learn, practice, and develop these skills over time.

Ultimately, we want our students to become happy, competent lifelong learners who have the skills and passion to make the world better, and we approach learning with this end goal in mind.
